--Finally watched 10 things I hate about you!!!!!! It was perfect - and not just because Joseph Gordon-Levitt was such a babe when he was 16! I kept thinking how it reminded me of Shakespeare and only 10 minutes into the movie did I realize it's loosely based on TOTS!! I know, I know, bimbo moment #9837. Loved how they peppered it with W.S nuances. I burn, I pine, I perish!(that was the line that triggered off my epiphany).Come to think of it now, there were lots of parallels - but maybe not the last part where Patrick(Petruchio) kisses Kat(Katherine) to shut her up while she's still talking. In the real world, you'd actually think that's pretty sweet, but uh after doing that book for two years I was actually kind of pissed. So in my opinion, Gil Junger(Director) took a completely different take from the original author of the book, who, again in my opinion, left the audience hanging about Kate being tamed.Then again not the whole world has read The Taming of the Shrew so no one really cares -_-Oh wait, if that poem Kat read out to her class was supposed to be Kate's big speech then I'm really pissed cos that didn't do Kate justice at all!!!!!Darn. Ok not so perfect then after you start running the scenes back in your head..--As usual, I must leave you with a piece of my fangirling lifestyle:

If I lived in the UK my sleeping patterns wouldn't seem so odd. If we were to assume(a mad assumption) that I actually DO live there(while living here), I'm actually up bright and early at 7am!

Every time I log in and wish to start a post I don't feel like doing it anymore.
I would like to say this though: James got an iPad2 from some nimrod fangirl from the UK cos his 21st is coming up in a bit and hence, is getting shiz for it. Ha. </a></lj-embed>Guess who got up at 830AM on a weekday to go watch a baseball match via ESPN at Jurong West on her own accord?? Yeahp. And guess what?? Me gusta baseball! (fghjkla suddenly getting all Spanish because of Carlos. I need to shoot myself)
Amos taught me and Jiaen the basics in about 2 minutes on paper. When we started watching it it got clearer. We're gonna need a few more matches to get to level 5!! I'm at level 2! #schzam.For the full experience we had cheese hotdogs and coke floats. \m/It was quite a chore to pick out what to wear to watch the game(can you imagine if it was a real game?? like out in the sun.....on benches..... Auto-repulsive feelings for sports will kick in quicker than you can say MLB!) but I got my v-neck navy-blue jersey sweater and black shorts and voila. I astound myself sometimes how is it I have the appropriate outfits for the appropriate events. I got the sweater on sale from Mango for my Potter outfit but since I haven't ironed on the Slytherin crest yet it's pretty much any old thing. #genius.A Yankees cap would've made it legit though.
This love for Major League Baseball is probably stemming from my innate desires to live in America. For a whileee.... or forever....... I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
//Watched Transformers3 on the same day with much regret! It was a movie made for 10 year olds and boys. No seriously, Jiaen, Michelle and I had no idea what was going on and we even slept during some parts. Amos apparently understood what was going on.Things that irked me:Robots talking. Seriously why were they talking?? I don't know why but this is just wrong. It just is.All of them in the movie should have died considering the amount of shooting and destruction that was going on.Why the hell was the new girl held hostage? No one cares about you, Barbie. Worst hostage ever.The kiss at the end of the movie with golden rays of the sun shining over Shia Labeouf and Barbie. Someone whistled and I groaned "aw come on!". And since it was a quiet scene my voice was a tad..amplified.The fact that Optimus Prime should have been the one everyone is mad at because HE/IT brought that old robot back to life!!!! But no! He's the hero! The heck!?Biggest irskism of all irks:
The entire story revolving around the bad guy trying to bring ANOTHER planet, into Planet Earth.Will everyone please take a moment and read that sentence.I DON'T EVEN...WHAT?????? That makes no bloody sense ok.All the damn money thats being made because of this movie is just disgusting. It makes me want to throw up thinking that Barbie, Labeouf and MICHAEL friggin BAY are making millions for this shiz while people ALL over the world are frikkin starving.Can I just say Thor & Green Lantern were way better. Not all boy-movies suck. #consolation.Will never understand why the Y chromosome makes a world of a difference.Anyway. It was a good day.
